  • Forty-three percent of Denver’s bike-sharing users said they replaced car trips with bike rides.
  • Eighty-nine percent of Paris’ bike-sharing users said it allowed them to move around the city more easily.
  • Bike sharing reduced traffic in Paris by five percent in its first year.
  • Ninety-six percent of first-year users of Lyon, France's bike-sharing program had not ridden in Lyon before.
