On May 19, the southern portion of the CTA’s Red Line train will be closed from Cermak/Chinatown to 95th/Dan Ryan for a massive reconstruction project that will last five months. More than 40,000 daily riders will need to navigate temporary shuttle buses and alternate routes.
Riders for Better Transit will be working hard to ensure that this process goes as smoothly as possible for everyone involved and that the CTA keeps its promise to get people where they need to go.
